A space to debate

You can create a forum within your course. You can include the forums either in one of the main tabs of the course (for example, for general questions or student presentation), or within a unit (for activities that could be related to a specific topic)

Be part of a community

Once you create a course, a new community is automatically created. You will be the administrator of that community, you can send messages and your students answer them. Students also have the possibility to create a group, if they need it, to organize.

Don't miss anything

If a student does not enter the course in a few days and information is lost, in 2 days, Edueca will send a reminder compiling the new messages. Notifications are grouped in a single email so as not to disturb the student, therefore, if Edueca is visited regularly, few notifications will be sent.

Create your own questionnaires

You can create questionnaires and configure them as you need: unique answers, multiple choice answers, open questions, with images ... You can monitor the response of your students and download the results.

Decide how they should work

You can decide the number of opportunities, the minimum score to pass, if they are self-assessment and you can also provide feedback to the students.

You can organise webinars; automatically, you webinar will be recored, you can download it or upload as a video to any of your learning units. The webinars accept up to 100 viewers.

Edueca accept videos inside your lessons, you can provide your own link (from vimeo or youtube) or if you wish, you can upload your video to Edueca, up to High Definition

We can provide simultaneous transcription for your webinars. Now deaf students will be also capable to attend your webinars.

Customize your logo and domain

The Campus option allows you to have your own domain such as: yourcompany.edueca.com, and to have help with the configuration of your server, to have a domain like course.yourcompany.com

Edueca emails are sent from edueca@educa.com (such as announcements, messages, etc.), if you wish, you can appear as a sender: trainer@yourcompany.com

The logo and colors can be updated to match those of your institution.

Completion criteria

You decide under which circumstances a course is completed: when a student reaches a certain number of hours, if he/she pass the questionnaires, or only if you decide (not automatically)

We validate the certificate

Edueca is developed by CIDET (Centre for the Innovation and Development of Education and Technology) and we can audit that the certificate is issued correctly and it valid.

Inteligent Tutor

We provide a dashboard to send you reminders and suggestions (also by email), so you will be always updated about what happens in your course (silent learners, deadlines) and also some advise based on your activity we are sure will be helpful.

Also, if you authorise us to watch the activity of your course and materials or activities, we will be able to suggest and help you more directly.

Analytics and statistics

We provide you with analytics, and statistics: last access, all the activity of one user, and also the most visited sections of your course.

Roles and visibility of the content

You can invite a colleague and assign him/her the role of tutor (to help you in the course), editor (to help you in the course preparation) or supervisor (to have unlimited access without the capacity to modify content)

Also you can update visible/hidden or public/private the content and tools. You can make them visible when you have finished or if you wish, yo can put periods (that is dates).

Learning units, and contet

We offer you to organize your course in learning units (or modules or chapter, the name here is not important). Each of that unit, contains what is a single piece of training, that includes PDFs, Words, PPT, Videos, Questionnaires, Text, etc. Also, learners will be able to download text in PDF to learn offline.

Organization in 3 levels

Usually most trainers need only 1 level: that would be lesson 1, lesson 2 ... and in each of that lesson you can put the content (videos, text, questionnaires, forums etc), but if you need to have sub-sections, as 1.1, 1.2, up to three levels: 1.1.1, 1.1.2, you can make that way in Edueca

Also your lessons can be open or close depending on how you configure them, or if you already know the planing, you can put a date so the lesson will open automatically.

On open courses, when there is not a timetable, you can put that lessons open after certain time of the student registration, of if you wish, after a completion of a questionnaire.

Never lost

The index, makes easy the student do not get lost and we show icons (closed, last visited, completed) so students can know also where they are.

Everybody can add and organize their knowledge in their Library. For example, if a student finds something interesting, or would like to bookmark a lesson, he/she can include any piece of information in his/her personal learning environment (PLE)

The Community is like a social network, but with the purpose of linking classmates, the trainer and pieces of knowledge.

W3C - Accessibility Level AA

Edueca is designed to be as easy to use as possible for both instructors and students. Our environment meets the AA requirement. It is also accessible to people with poor hearing or eye capacity

A place for you and your students

The dashboard of the Campus is the starting point of everybody at your organization. It allows to have courses and collaborative spaces. For example, think on dividing a a course in two groups (A, B) or in academic years, or in languages, or a course for the trainers. A Campus allows to have this hierarchy.
